These Eterna Kontiki Super divers watch were sold in small quantities to the Israeli Defense Force in the 1970's following the Kippur War. They were issued to the Shayetet 13 Commandos. The Israeli counterpart to the US navy SEALS. These watches were used for diving mission and were decommissioned in the early 1990's for more precise and less expensive quartz diving watches.
