Beginning in 1989, the Reference 16710 replaced the ref. 16760 nicknamed "The Fat Lady" featuring a slimmer case design with a similar caliber movement. This reference was produced between 1989 and 2007. The early models were fitted with a 3185 which was later replaced by the 3186. In the nearly 20 years of production the 16710 came in different combination with Oyster or Jubilé bracelet. T^he bezel came in three combinations; the "Pepsi" Red/Blue, the "Coke" Red/black and the All Black.
The dial had Tritium markers until 1997 and signed "T<25 dial", in 1998 and for only one year it was fitted with a Luminova dial signed "Swiss Dial". From 2000 until it was discontinued in 2007 the dial indicators were painted with Superluminova and signed "Swiss made dial".
The present watch is from 1997 and was sold in 1998. It is fitted with a tritium dial, inner box and void original Warranty, a nice attractive package of an old school black on black GMT.
